Lessons from the Field: Climate Change Adaptation in India 6:30 – 7:30 pm Crispino Lobo, co-founder and Executive Director of the Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR), will share WOTR’s experience in implementing a large-scale climate change adaptation project in rain-dependent and semi-arid regions of India. The project includes a range of interventions and utilizes a suite of seven participatory tools developed by WOTR to assess climate-induced vulnerability, make livelihoods climate resilient, enable communities and school children to document local bio-diversity, facilitate holistic planning of adaptive measures, undertake water-budgeting at the village level, and assess climate-related health risks. | Presentation | |
