The first meeting of the pilot countries participating in the Forest Investment Program (FIP) took place on 7-8 November, 2010, at the World Bank in Washington D.C., United States.
The objective of the FIP Pilot Country meetings was to provide a common space for representatives from pilot countries to share experiences on CIF activities, learn from each other and discuss issues of common interest. The meeting focused on preparations of joint missions, expectations regarding investment plans, and included a half day session dedicated to a technical workshop on the challenges for FIP implementation.
