Lesley Wilson, a British national, joined the CIF Administrative Unit in 2009 as the Governance Team lead, focusing on Trust Fund Committee relations, providing guidance to the Program Manager on governance-related issues, and providing coordination of CIF project and policy approvals. In addition, Lesley also oversees logistical arrangements of Committee meetings, Partnership Forums, and preparation of the CIF’s annual Business Plan and Budget.
Prior to joining the CIF Administrative Unit, Lesley worked for the World Bank’s Trustee department; specifically in supporting the GEF Trust Fund and the Global Fund for Aids, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GFATM). Before coming to the World Bank, Lesley was the Assistant Manager of Union de Credit pour le Batiment (UCB), in Manchester, England, where she specialized in risk assessment of residential mortgage applications and development of new residential products and policies.
Lesley has amassed a Bachelor’s degree in Business (BSc) and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA).
