Joseph Dickman joined the CIF in March 2016 as a Senior Evaluation and Learning Specialist, leading evaluation and learning activities across all four CIF program areas.
Prior to joining the CIF, Joseph worked at The MasterCard Foundation, where he was Deputy Director of Research, Evaluation and Learning. In this capacity, he developed research, evaluation and learning policies and strategies, and led multi-dimensional evaluations for large initiatives in financial inclusion, youth livelihoods and education.
Previously, Joseph worked on project design, monitoring and evaluation for several non-governmental organizations, including Mercy Corps and CARE International, covering projects in resilience, disaster risk reduction, early recovery, economic development, natural resource management, agriculture, health, and conflict, and held field positions in Mali and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Joseph also served as a United States Peace Corps Volunteer in Bolivia, specializing in microenterprise development.
Joseph holds a Master’s in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University.
