This was the second webinar of the Climate Investment Funds (CIF) Webinar Series. It built on the introduction to the CIF, provided in the first webinar, by giving participants a more detailed look at one of the unique and important aspects of the CIF model – the process of developing country-led strategic plans for investing climate finance. Diverse participants from Nepal, Manila, Mexico and the UK shared their perspectives and lessons learned, based on their experiences participating in the CIF investment planning process - specifically in the Pilot Program for Climate Resilience and the Clean Technology Fund.
