The seventh meeting of pilot countries and regions participating in the Pilot Program for Climate Resilience (PPCR) took place May 1-3, 2013 in Washington D.C., United States in association with the CIF Trust Fund Committee and Sub-Committee Meetings.
The meeting provided the opportunity for pilot countries to share updates on their SPCR programming and implementation progress and challenges since the last meeting in October 2012. Participants also explored critical aspects of the PPCR process in detailed sessions, including on monitoring and reporting, country coordination, stakeholder engagement, knowledge management, and private sector involvement.
In addition, the CIF Administrative Unit invited monitoring and evaluation specialists from PPCR pilot countries to join the meeting, and they participate in a special training program on the use of new PPCR tools for monitoring and reporting. Click here for the program for PPCR M&E specialists.
