The Pilot Program for Climate Resilience aims to demonstrate ways to integrate climate risk and resilience into core development planning, whiles complementing other ongoing activities. Nine countries and two regions were selected to participate in the program. During the PPCR Sub-Committee meeting held on June 2011, the CIF Administrative Unit and the MDBs were requested to report to the Sub-Committee the inclusion of gender experts in the joint missions organized by the PPCR pilot countries to assist in the preparation of the Strategic Programs for Climate Resilience (SPCR).
The note on gender dimensions has been prepared in response to that request. It was prepared by the CIF Administrative Unit based on information provided by the MDBs. It summarizes the actions taken by the pilot countries and the MDBs to integrate gender considerations in SPCRs and/or projects/programs.
Trustee Disbursement Report
During its meeting in November 2010, the CTF Trust Fund Committee requested that the CIF Administrative Unit, in collaboration with the MDB Committee, report on disbursements under the CTF on a semi annual basis.
