IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS

  1. Photo: Penguins in South Africa by ShutterstockParticipants from prone malaria areas shall be requested to produce Yellow Fever Vaccination certificates upon entry into the Republic of South Africa. This requirement also applies to those who might find themselves in transit via such areas.
     
  2. Participants are responsible for making their own travel and accommodation arrangements.
     
  3. Participants are strongly advised to obtain international travel and medical insurance to cover them from the time they depart for the meeting until the time of return.
     
  4. The CIF AU disclaim all responsibility for medical, accident and travel insurance, for compensation, death of disability, loss or damage to personal property and for any other costs or losses that may be incurred during travel time or the period of participation.
     
  5. All foreign citizens entering South Africa must have a valid passport.
     
  6. Participants to the meeting who require a visa for South Africa or a transit visa, are strongly encouraged to contact the appropriate consular authorities as soon as possible.
     
  7. All participants are requested to register upon arrival at the venue for the meeting. A valid photo ID should be presented to the registration staff in order to issue the corresponding badge.
     
  8. In submitting the form through electronic means the submitter accepts all risks and responsibilities associated with the use of electronic means of submitting the form.
