The first meeting of all pilot countries participating in the Clean Technology Fund (CTF) and the Strategic Climate Fund (SCF) took place on Sunday, 26 June, 2011 at the Cape Town International Conference Center, Cape Town, South Africa.

At this meeting, pilot countries had the opportunity to discuss common issues including common challenges and opportunities in implementing the CIF; ways to maintain the programmatic approach of CIF finance; and the meaning of, and means to achieve, transformational impact.
