PPCR Joint Missions

PPCR joint missions assist pilot countries in formulating a Strategic Program for Climate Change. These missions are country-led and involve  MDBs and other development partners. They include broad participation among government, national stakeholders and development partners in order to promote country ownership of the PPCR program and its implementation.

The PPCR is implemented in two phases

  1. Phase 1 – supports countries to develop a Strategic Program for Climate Resilience, which includes an underlying investment program.
  2. Phase 2 – supports implementation of the Strategic Program.
