Recognizing the importance of effective dialogue and linkages with its partners, the CTF Trust Fund Committee invites a number of active observers to attend its meetings.
Who the CTF Observers are:
Active Observers:

- Four civil society organizations (CSO) representatives
- Two private sector representatives
- Global Environment Facility (GEF)
- United Nations Convention for Climate Change (UNFCCC)
- United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)
- United Nations Environment Program (UNEP)
- Contributor countries other than member countries
- Recipient countries for which the CTF Trust Fund Committee has approved any investment plan, program or project
The four representatives from Civil Society Organizations, which may include representatives of NGOs, development and environment institutions and "think tanks", local communities and indigenous peoples groups, were identified through a self-selection process designed and managed by RESOLVE.
The self-selection process for the private sector representatives was designed and facilitated by the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD).
